Thesis theme review
Since I’m moving my work life over to the internet one of the tools I use the most is the Thesis theme for WordPress. I’m so impressed and love this product so much that I want others to quit wasting their time trying to find free themes that work (which they mostly don’t). I use Thesis on all my websites, including on one you’re on right now, a few niche websites and a e-commerce website. If you’re serious about having a solid website for your business or your interests then the Thesis theme is for you. I’ll explain why in this Thesis theme review.

Why spend money on a WordPress theme when there’s so many out there for free?
Good question and the simplest explanation I can give you is in the form of another question. How much do you value your time? I have tried free themes for about 6 months, none of them did what I wanted. I had to learn code to get what I wanted. So refusing to pay for a theme I spent countless hours on coding forums asking questions about php and css getting headache after headache when the website looked a mess in Internet Explorer, I’m sure some of you know what I’m talking about. So much time wasted and I still wasn’t anywhere near completion for my website! I came across the Thesis theme and I was blown away, it was exactly what I wanted in a theme. Simple click and drop options. I don’t like parting with money but after so much time wasted with free themes I paid the $167 for the developers option and I haven’t looked back since which is why I’m writing this Thesis theme review to hopefully convince you to ditch those crappy themes, splash out, get Thesis and do something more interesting with your time than trying to get your website to look good in IE.

So lets get right into the Thesis theme review and why it is in my opinion one of the best purchases I have made for building my websites and also sustaining my businesses.

The Thesis site options section comes with various different options. Here you can add your analytics code to keep track of vistors coming to your site. No need to go into the code here, simply just add it to the stats/tracking scripts section (copy and paste), hit the big ass save button and you’re done. Simples. You can add a number of different scripts to this as well, if you are using such tools as Keyword Strategy then this script goes into that section. No more cracking open the theme add potentially messing up your code. Thesis is designed so that you don’t have to touch the core code making it fully optimised for SEO benefits, nice touch don’t you think?
Thesis also allows you advanced controls on what you want to block from the search engines etc by including a robot meta tags section. This allows you further control to fine tune your SEO by giving you the option to exclude certain pages from Google and other search engines. Why would you want to do this? Some pages on your website you do not want to include in the search engines as they will dilute your site and thus you will not rank as high as you could. Thesis has this under control though and gives you the option to control this so that you can rank as high as possible using the Thesis theme.
